Oasis Family Birthing Center (OFBC) was founded in June 2022 in an effort to address the ongoing health disparities in maternal health. It is our mission to provide evidence-based prenatal care while increasing access to midwifery care within the state of Alabama. Our center focuses on principles of shared decision-making, cultural competence, and reproductive justice.
